Why Should We Use Dillon Transport, Inc.?
Most of our business comes from long term clients over the past 20 years, clients that have been using Dillon Transport, Inc. repeatedly over the years. These are clients that have preferred to use us for many reasons, but the most obvious is that we have built a relationship and they are much more than just a client to our company. How Competitive is Your Pricing?
We have been in business for 20 years as of this year and our record as a Transportation Broker has given us access to thousands of qualified carriers with a top level reputation. We monitor the market conditions, fuel prices and the available equipment based on the states/regional needs. This allows us to determine the best carrier for that particular lane which often results in a bargain for the customer.
What Areas Does Dillon Transport, Inc. Cover?

What Types of Trucks Do You Use for Hauling Freight?

Does Your Company Handle LTL Shipments Also?
Dillon Transport, Inc. handles full size shipments as well as LTL freight shipments. If you only need for us to pickup 1 pallet, or a crate that only weighs 300 pounds, we can arrange a pickup. No loads are too small and no loads are too large.
If I Decide to Use Dillon Transport, Inc. to Haul our Freight, How Do I Place an Order?
You have several options to initiate an order:
- 1st option is you could call the office at (540) 433-4935 and place your order.
- 2nd option is that you could email the pickup/delivery information to dillontransportinc@gmail.com
- 3rd option is to visit our website at dillontransportinc.com and complete the contact form on this page or the request rate form found on our main menu.
How Long Does It Take for My Freight to be Picked Up and Delivered?
Normally, once we receive an order that is ready for pickup, we can usually arrange a truck that particular day if early enough or the next day at the latest. Depending on the number of miles, the transit time could be as little as 1 day. Drivers on average will drive around 500 miles per day, so that should give you some idea when to expect delivery depending on the number of miles between pickup and delivery. If it is an LTL shipment, then it could take an extra day or so since the driver will more than likely have other stops (customers) en-route to your location.
Do You Deliver to Job Sites or to Homeowners?
Dillon Transport, Inc. arranges deliveries to job sites all of the time. This could be a homeowner doing a renovation, or a contractor having product delivered to a construction site. All that we ask is that you have equipment on hand to off load the truck once it arrives. If it is a job site, we would also request trucks to have access to the job with regard to the home or construction site since often neighborhoods and some streets are not accessible for a large truck. This needs to be determined before scheduling a truck for delivery to prevent delays and extra costs.
What If My Shipment is Damaged En-route?
Once the load arrives at its destination, the best practice is to inspect the shipment prior to signing off on the paperwork that the driver will have you sign saying everything was delivered and in good shape. If you notice damages, you should note this on the paperwork. Do NOT let the driver leave until you have inspected the freight. If damages are noted, at that point a claim can be filed with the shipper and the carrier to determine who was at fault.
